To the official website for the 2022 Stockings For Soldier's community project.
This year marks the 19th
consecutive year of our community effort to send personalized Holiday greetings
to our brave young men and women in uniform serving their country half way around the world.
Important: Our "Stocking Store" is in the same location as last year.
Thank you to the very great generosity of the Acadia Realty Trust Company,
we are located in the Brandywine Town Center
in North Wilmington, Delaware.

Our only entrance is in the front of the Brandywine Town Center, to the right of Bob’s Furniture directly underneath our "Stockings for Soldiers" banner. Please see our location page for all of the details.
PLEASE NOTE: When sending boxes and letters to us, please use our mailing address listed below. DO NOT mail anything directly to our store address because we are not always open to receive packages.

We are asking volunteers to DROP OFF donations starting
Monday, October 10th through
Thursday November 17th, 2022.
Our project will be completed by
December 2nd, 2022.

DAYTIME drop off hours on SOME Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in October.
Volunteer hours will start on Oct. 10th. Our doors will open from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Mondays through Thursdays in the evenings only Over the next eight weeks, collecting the needed goodies, sorting all the donations, stuffing the stockings with goodies, boxing them and shipping them to troops in the remotest regions of the world. Previously, our boxes have gone to Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Israel, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Kosovo, Romania, Poland, Djibouti, Chad, South Korea and parts unknown.
Last year, over 1000 great volunteers helped us to mail out 1,200 boxes packed with 8,500 homemade, personalized Christmas Stockings that were filled with over 33,000 pounds of goodies.
Please remember that the BEST way to help us is to purchase the goodies for the stockings. Please hold a collection drive to help us to get enough goodies for the stockings.
We are very blessed to have so many volunteers sew stockings for us. Please be sure to get your sewn stockings to us by October 31st so we can prepare them for stuffing in early November. THANK YOU all so very much for all you do for our troops and our community project.
